Job Summary

Join Visa’s compliance operations team at onboarding and help protect the business by reviewing client applications. You’ll perform KYC, CDD, and EDD for new corporate and individual customers, assess risk against Currencycloud’s risk appetite, and run sanction/PEP screening. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders to support a smooth customer journey, complete assigned compliance project work, and escalate urgent cases for further review.

•Review client applications at the point of onboarding.
•Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and know-your-customer (KYC) for new clients.
•Conduct sanction/PEP screening and investigate potential hits.
•Provide a good client experience to stakeholders as part of a smooth customer journey.
•Undertake assigned compliance project work and proactively escalate urgent cases to management.

Key Requirements

•2 years of relevant experience.
•Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
•Current member in good standing of a State Bar with ability to become barred or registered in-house counsel in the state where the role is located.
•At least 2 years’ experience in a compliance function.
•Good business acumen and highly analytical skills to assess risk using evidence/data.
