Key Responsibilities

  • •Aid in all aspects of press line operations including change-overs, start-up, running, and shut-down.
  • •Set up jobs according to established S.O.C.’s and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • •Ensure printed material is defect-free and run jobs per manufacturing, customer, and print specifications, including color folders and SOPs.
  • •Work with the press operator to minimize change-over and down time; help prepare inks, stocks, cylinders, cores, and aniloxes for the next job.
  • •Support maintenance to return equipment to production and complete the assistant training matrix on time while following product safety, 5S, and WCM initiatives.
