Key Responsibilities

  • •Pilot technical development phases for new ceramic products and run technical studies supporting product quality.
  • •Lead R&D projects to expand the range of materials, products, processes, and technologies to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
  • •Serve as the Beyrand laboratory reference within Hermès’ Lab network.
  • •During peak activity, perform prototype color matching and adjust production tones.
  • •Support Production, Industrialization, and Quality teams with technical/scientific input on issues (defects, recurrent defects, scrap) and participate in training offerings for operational teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Doctorate in Materials Sciences or Materials Engineering with a specialization in ceramics (appreciated).
  • •Generalist engineer profile in Materials or Ceramics.
  • •Strong knowledge of ceramics, particularly glasses, and thermomechanical material properties.
  • •Strong knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry.
  • •Good command of English.
