•Be a Key Technical Contributor: Direct technical execution at the highest level; Convert state-of-the-art research into scalable, product-grade tools; Oversee infrastructure for model interpretability, training, and inference at frontier scale.
•Build an Exemplary Engineering Team: Recruit, hire, and retain top ML engineers; Develop and execute a hiring strategy to attract top talent; Foster a high-performance culture to tackle hard AI problems.
•Own Outcomes End-to-End: Drive adoption of Goodfire's core platform; Collaborate with customers and GTM teams; Shape Goodfire's culture and values as the company scales.
•Collaborate with research and product partners to align platform capabilities with strategic AI safety and interpretability goals.
•Ensure robust software interfaces for public consumption and maintain high reliability for large-scale training runs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 300,000 - 450,000 annually

•10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles
•Demonstrated success building and scaling engineering teams at high-growth startups or frontier AI labs

•Hands-on proficiency with PyTorch or JAX, modern ML tooling and inference engines
