Job Summary

Apply in-depth inspection expertise to strengthen quality discipline across McDermott projects. You will supervise independent inspection and testing under the Project Quality Plan, identify and drive resolution of non-conformities, and develop inspection and test plans in consultation with the Project Quality Manager. Partner with QC/NDT, certification, welding engineering, operations, and certifying authorities to ensure conformity to code specifications and customer requirements, documenting deviations through the Site Query System.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise Quality Control activities to determine product conformity to customer specifications through independent inspection and tests under the Project Quality Plan.
•Identify non-conformities for rectification and ensure final resolution, including initiating evaluation for non-conforming items.
•Develop Project Quality Plans, inspection, and test plans in consultation with the Project Quality Manager.
•Liaise with QC/NDT, certification, welding engineering, operations, certifying authorities, clients, and subcontractors to ensure quality problems are addressed and technically resolved.
•Provide interpretation of applicable code specifications and customer requirements, document deviations/waivers via the Site Query System, and verify QC inspector effectiveness through random audits of CIRs.

Key Requirements

•Senior high school graduate or a degree in a related field.
•10+ years of Quality Control or related experience in a related discipline.
•Proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Ability to solve complex inspection problems with minimal guidance.
•Experience supporting non-conformance evaluation, rectification, and closure in an inspection/testing framework.
