Job Summary

Support the HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager to implement the HSE management system. Assist with planning, execution, evaluation, and analysis of site HSE activities to achieve targets and objectives. Coordinate safety training, HSE committee meetings, and daily hazard/unsafe condition identification, ensuring observation reports, corrective actions, and timely reporting of project HSE performance. Support HSE initiatives and incident reporting in line with company and IMS policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Support implementation of and compliance with the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
•Arrange and participate in safety training sessions, HSE committee activities, and coordination meetings.
•Advise supervisory staff on accident prevention and improvements related to work methods.
•Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite and monitor execution of HSE activities to meet project HSE plan and HSEMS requirements.
•Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, ensure corrective measures are recorded, address violations daily, and support incident reporting and resolution.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of working experience, including 3 years of relevant experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Level 6 Diploma in OHS.
•Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
•Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, procedures, and integrated management systems.
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
