Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to structural design and the delivery of bridge-related work from inception to completion.
  • •Undertake bridge and structural assessment across different stages, including on-site inspection and analysis.
  • •Use finite elements analysis and other tools to support engineering design and assessment.
  • •Help with structural inspections, structural inspections analysis, and structural renewal feasibility studies.
  • •Support scheme management and on-site works supervision as responsibility increases through the programme.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering is an advantage.
  • •Structural modules or Structural/Bridge Engineering experience is an advantage.
  • •Demonstrate strong technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering and a clear interest in Bridge Structures Engineering.
  • •Willing and able to work toward chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE), and have the right to work in the UK.
