Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct a highly complex, specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.
  • •Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members.
  • •Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures; review programs for conformance with Department standards.
  • •Support, oversee, and coordinate engineering production activities for an operating unit; make authoritative decisions and recommendations.
  • •Initiate and maintain contact with senior-level management and serve as a lead for a team of engineers and professional support staff, including dispute resolution and critical issue negotiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.
  • •Valid US Driver’s License is required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices (pass a Motor Vehicle Records review).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) with the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP (if registered in another state).
  • •Advanced/transportation project experience and familiarity with project delivery and quality requirements (including FDOT/CTQP items) is preferred.
