Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain engineering drawings using SolidWorks and, when required, AutoCAD.
  • •Create 3D models, assemblies, and mechanical drawings for new and existing products.
  • •Prepare and update engineering documentation based on approved design changes and engineering direction.
  • •Maintain document control and revision integrity within the PLM system and participate in drawing reviews.
  • •Support NPD projects from concept through product release, including models/prototypes for evaluation and meeting design deliverables on time.

Key Requirements

  • •University student with 120 credits completed or at least 70% progress toward a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •1+ year of engineered drafting experience using CAD tools.
  • •Proficiency with SolidWorks for drawings, parts, and assemblies (test may be required).
  • •Ability to interpret engineering specifications, standards, and technical requirements.
  • •Desirable: knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and/or GD&T principles.
