Key Responsibilities

  • •Improve accuracy on core extractions for long, amended, and unclear legal documents by working with JDs and experts to find failure modes and fixes.
  • •Own evaluation suites and tests to measure whether changes help and to prevent regressions.
  • •Improve the shared agent harness, including tooling, parallel tool calls, context strategy, and orchestration for agentic advisory workflows.
  • •Design how suggestions are surfaced for human review, including explanations and accepted/rejected feedback loops back into the system.
  • •Stay informed on AI model capabilities and usage best practices and apply them using eval results.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices.
  • •Experience shipping AI systems to production with prompt/context engineering and eval design.
  • •Ability to make probabilistic systems dependable through practical engineering and testing.
  • •Interest in and ability to understand domain nuance in trusts and related customer expectations.
  • •Strong day-to-day engineering with the backend stack (Go, Postgres, Temporal, GraphQL).
