Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop complex welding and assembly processes and mentor process controls to support operations and implementation.
  • •Define welding process specifications, approval protocols, runoff, and installation requirements for capital equipment.
  • •Use advanced problem-solving methods (6-Sigma, DOE, A3, 9-step, and 5-Why) to identify root causes.
  • •Improve welding programs by analyzing critical dimensions/tolerancing and designing/selecting tools, fixtures, inspection processes, and certifications.
  • •Develop and update certification programs aligned to international welding standards (AWS), including control plans/PFMEAs/JSAs and leading PQA audits and setup teams.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, or similar.
  • •7-10 years as a Manufacturing/Process/Quality Engineer focused on welding and assembly processes.
  • •Demonstrated project and team management experience.
  • •Strong mentorship and capability with Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, Material flow, GD&T, and related methodologies.
  • •English proficiency (about 90%).
