Job Summary

Join WSP’s National Tunnels & Tunnel Systems team in Sydney to help design and deliver fire protection and tunnel systems solutions for major road, rail, and transport infrastructure projects. You’ll work with multidisciplinary specialists in tunnel ventilation, fire and life safety, and mechanical engineering throughout project planning and design phases, while partnering with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the design and delivery of fire protection and tunnel systems solutions on major infrastructure projects.
•Work closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout project planning and design phases.
•Support the development of tunnel ventilation, fire life safety, and mechanical systems designs.
•Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Experience in fire protection, fire safety, mechanical, or tunnel systems engineering.
•Exposure to the design phase of infrastructure projects.
•Understanding of relevant Australian standards, codes, and industry practices.
•Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
