Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) verification on parts, components, assemblies, and materials, including first article and in-process/final inspections.
  • •Apply GD&T requirements from engineering drawings and drawing notes, and spot interpretation issues affecting evaluation against specifications.
  • •Create, maintain, verify, retain, sort, and organize PC-DMIS inspection programs to ensure they are available to the current revision.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve precision inspection processes and specifications within the work center and beyond.
  • •Assist engineering with inspection plans and identify GD&T/design issues and suggest drawing changes to improve manufacturability.
