Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and improve assembly processes, materials, and/or equipment; maintain in-depth process knowledge and understand how variables impact quality and reliability.
  • •Optimize process and/or equipment variables using DOE techniques and define process performance targets (e.g., CPK).
  • •Diagnose root causes of assembly process issues and implement corrective actions using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, and SPC methodology.
  • •Coordinate process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process steps, including operation procedures and new process baseline qualifications.
  • •Enable predictive insights using AI/data-driven methods (yield trend prediction, early excursion detection, correlation/variation drivers) leveraging MES, equipment, and yield data.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related Engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 years of related experience in assembly packaging or a semiconductor manufacturing background.
  • •Good knowledge of wafer dicing processes.
  • •Familiarity with Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC), plus problem-solving skills.
  • •Knowledge of Design of Experiment (DOE) is an added advantage; self-motivated with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
