Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Cook in daily routine operations and meal preparation.
  • •Perform duties with accepted standards for safe food handling, sanitation, and health and safety in work areas.
  • •Clean and disinfect all food service equipment after use, including the preparation area and drink dispensers.
  • •Wipe down mess, deck, and galley overheads and bulkheads with cleaning and disinfecting solution.
  • •Alert to signs of contamination or pests in galley and storerooms and report findings; comply with HSE and emergency procedures.

  • •Technical School Certificate or an equivalent professional qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
