Job Summary

Lead technical engagements as a Senior Solutions Engineer for Egnyte’s secure multi‑cloud content platform in the AEC space. Own complex POCs, translate BIM and construction workflows into Egnyte solutions, collaborate with Product/Engineering, and communicate business value to CIOs, BIM Managers, and IT staff across remote and on-site locations.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Independently lead complex customer engagements and POCs with clear execution plans, configuring Egnyte and third‑party integrations.
•Speak to business outcomes, bridging the gap between non‑technical and technical audiences to drive adoption.
•Act as a trusted advisor leveraging IT/Engineering/Construction background to identify technical roadblocks and opportunities.
•Prepare and deliver tailored solution proposals and presentations mapping client requirements to Egnyte capabilities.
•Lead RFx responses and coordinate with product/engineering to influence roadmap with industry insights.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of relevant experience in Sales Engineering, IT and/or AEC industry technology, with construction or engineering context preferred.
•Technical familiarity with core AEC design and collaboration tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Procore or ACC).
•Consultative, value‑based solution selling experience, able to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
•Broad IT knowledge of SaaS, infrastructure, network considerations (bandwidth/latency), authentication (SSO/AD), and data governance.
•Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver executive‑ready pitches and handle objections in real time.
