Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the preparation of SEC filings (Form 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy) including external auditor review/approval workflows.
  • •Prepare or review quarterly financial statements, EPS calculations, and disclosure checklists while ensuring GAAP and disclosure compliance.
  • •Oversee equity and technical accounting work including monthly journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations related to stock-based compensation.
  • •Research, evaluate, and document technical accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP and prepare clear technical accounting memos.
  • •Identify and implement opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls over financial reporting and equity accounting.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in finance/accounting and CPA.
  • •6-8 years of financial reporting and technical accounting experience in the technology industry and/or public accounting.
  • •Experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718 in a publicly traded company.
  • •Experience working with E*TRADE Equity Edge Online platform and knowledge of quarterly SEC reporting processes.
  • •Strong analytical and written communication skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and longer-term technical projects.
