Job Summary

Lead the Customer Acquisition team to drive sustainable growth in new-to-bank Premier acquisitions and Emerging Affluent upgrades. Own acquisition plans and conversion targets, manage pipeline including open-to-fund, and improve account opening-to-funding conversion. Set KPIs, coach and develop team members, and ensure fair, compliant onboarding with KYC/AML and sales suitability. Collaborate end-to-end with Branch/Distribution, Wealth, Marketing, Contact Centre, and Operations, delivering recurring MI and insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and execute acquisition plans aligned to Distribution strategy and quarterly priorities, translating goals into conversion targets.
•Manage pipeline and conversion including open-to-fund, improving account opening-to-funding through follow-up cadence and bottleneck removal.
•Lead, coach, and develop team members; set KPIs, run performance reviews, and maintain coverage, workload allocation, and quality controls.
•Partner with Branch management, product specialists, Marketing, Contact Centre, and Operations to maximize acquisition outcomes and improve handoffs.
•Ensure compliance with KYC/AML/CTF, sanctions screening, data privacy, record keeping, and sales suitability; produce MI and recommended actions for SVP and Head of Distribution.

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent relevant experience.
•Proven retail banking distribution, sales management, customer acquisition, or relationship management experience with a track record delivering growth targets.
•Prior people management experience including coaching and performance management.
•Strong understanding of retail banking onboarding, KYC/AML, and sales conduct/suitability requirements.
•Demonstrated pipeline management and conversion optimization, comfortable using data/MI and turning insights into actions.
