Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships with identified universities, aligning Canva to their teaching, learning, and collaboration goals.
  • •Manage sales opportunities across the account lifecycle, from early discovery through deal progression and supporting customer adoption.
  • •Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by identifying growth opportunities, developing account plans, and keeping the portfolio moving.
  • •Understand how universities evaluate, purchase, and roll out technology and use that insight to help customers navigate the process effectively.
  • •Share customer and market insight with Canva and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to deliver customer outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Track record of top sales performance and success managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to new logo acquisition.
  • •Ability to build trust with customers by asking thoughtful questions, understanding needs, and communicating a clear value story.
  • •Experience building and managing pipeline, balancing new opportunity creation with progressing existing deals.
  • •Curiosity about Higher Education; experience selling into universities or the Higher Education sector is a bonus.
  • •Clear, confident communication skills and a commercially minded approach to account planning and forecasting.
