Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, configure, harden, patch, upgrade, maintain, and administer production and development MSSQL 2022 SQL instances.
  • •Perform performance monitoring and tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning, database backup/recovery, and query optimization/tuning.
  • •Configure and maintain SQL Agent jobs, server audits, and SSIS packages, and configure Always On Availability Groups.
  • •Work with developers to design, develop, implement, and maintain new applications using MSSQL 2022.
  • •Write and debug PowerShell scripts for automation, harden SQL instances per DISA/FISMA/GOV Best Practice STIGS, configure encryption, and administer MongoDB.

Salary: USD 124,540 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering/technical discipline with 12 years of experience (or 8 additional years of relevant experience substituted for education).
  • •Experience administering MongoDB in an enterprise environment.
  • •PWS-specified certification required: obtain within six months one of MCSA (SQL Server 2016 or above), MCSE Data Platform, MCITP Database Administrator SQL 2016 (or greater), or MCTS.
  • •Ability to pass a government Tier 2 Moderate Background Investigation.
