Key Responsibilities

•Operate machinery as directed while following safety rules and procedures to produce a superior product.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Set stops/guides to required lengths using scales, rules, or templates.
•Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions; review product for inconsistencies and quality.
•Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain housekeeping in a clear and orderly fashion; assist other operators with setups as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent or equivalent combination of education and at least one month of related trade experience.

•Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
•Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Experience with Microsoft Office and a high level of accuracy in work assignments.
