Job Summary

Own probe strategy and silicon learning across wafer test, from pre-silicon design-to-probe staging through first-silicon bring-up, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing. Define probe coverage intent, limits, and guard-bands grounded in silicon behavior and customer requirements, improving yield, quality, and test-cost outcomes. Partner across Design, DFT/DV, Process Integration, Backend Test, and Reliability while using probe and reliability data to enable analytics and AI/ML-driven test optimization.
Location: Singapore
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own probe coverage intent by mapping design features, device behavior, and process risks into observability, screening mechanisms, trims, and guard-bands.
  • •Define, release, and sustain probe test flows from first silicon through qualification and HVM to meet coverage objectives without unnecessary test overhead.
  • •Lead probe enablement for NPI and technology ramps by identifying coverage and manufacturability risks early and driving mitigation plans.
  • •Support first-silicon bring-up and device characterization using engineering probe platforms; correlate silicon behavior with probe results to validate coverage intent and eliminate redundant content.
  • •Use probe/inline/reliability data to enable yield learning, bin definitions, failure-mode analysis, and AI/ML initiatives for predictive probe and test optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in semiconductor devices, wafer test, and product engineering.
  • •Use silicon behavior and characterization data to make informed probe, yield, and coverage decisions.
  • •Experience or strong interest in silicon learning, device behavior, yield mechanisms, DFT intent, or design-to-manufacturing integration.
  • •Strong analytical skills for structured root-cause analysis and effective communication across global cross-functional teams.
