Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, define, and drive research projects with company-wide scope and direct impact on core metrics
  • •Design and implement models, often deep neural networks, to predict user behavior and preferences
  • •Develop and test new approaches to modeling key issues such as bidding in first-price auctions
  • •Conduct and analyze A/B tests and translate the latest ML research into practical improvements
  • •Mentor researchers and shape research practices across teams

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a researcher or engineer and strong mathematical knowledge with intuition
  • •2+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning and/or data science
  • •Proficiency in programming and ability to solve unclear problems by defining goals and measuring success
  • •Sound knowledge for modeling and experimentation, including designing and analyzing A/B tests
  • •Nice to have: strong theoretical mathematics (statistics, probability, discrete mathematics, combinatorics)
