Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop power electronic software and motor-control specifications for power tools and outdoor products.
  • •Conduct MIL simulation and testing in MATLAB, including motor control algorithms and lithium-ion battery system.
  • •Generate application-level embedded code from model-based design and support MATLAB unit and coverage testing.
  • •Develop and lead HIL test systems using Speedgoat, including building a digital power HIL twin and verifying embedded controllers via hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • •Build verification and validation environments (HIL/SIL/MIL) and define unit/integration testing procedures; maintain documentation and translate customer requirements into software specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in research/product development of embedded firmware.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering (master’s degree preferred).
  • •Design model-based (MBD) embedded software platform for power tool products.
  • •Strong knowledge of MBD MIL/PIL/SIL and test automation, including verification & validation.
  • •Extensive embedded microcontroller development in C/C++, including code generation and BSP/HAL; motor control knowledge (FOC and Trapezoidal, BLDC/PMSM, sensorless familiarity).
