Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a customer technical specialist to address requirements and technical challenges during pre-sales for Spectrum-X, with emphasis on whitebox switches.
  • •Guide customers through SONiC or in-house NOS bring-up on NVIDIA Spectrum whitebox platforms, including feature enablement and debuggability.
  • •Serve as technical authority on the SAI layer and NVIDIA Spectrum SDK, advising on API usage, feature mapping, and ASIC capability/limitations.
  • •Debug complex networking and software issues across the full stack (customer NOS, SAI, SDK) and provide solutions.
  • •Partner with R&D to resolve customer issues, drive fixes upstream, and provide customer product requirements and feedback for the software roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in networking software development with knowledge of Linux kernel, Ethernet, and IP protocols.
  • •B.Sc (or equivalent) with Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Hands-on experience with switch software stacks such as SONiC, another open/whitebox NOS, or an in-house switch operating system.
  • •Experience with Ethernet switches/routers and network protocols including L2–L4 protocols.
  • •Development or scripting ability in C/C++ and/or Python for debugging, integration, and tooling.
