Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare supplies and PPE for each day’s patient visits.
  • •Use mobile technology to access and manage the daily schedule.
  • •Connect with patients of all ages, collect relevant information, and prepare for specimen collection.
  • •Collect blood samples using expert phlebotomy skills and ensure proper labeling of specimens.
  • •Coordinate sample drop-off to the appropriate lab or shipment facility using required workflows and secure communication.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience as a phlebotomist and the ability to work independently with a high standard of excellence.
  • •Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer-oriented, compassionate approach to patients.
  • •Technologically savvy and comfortable using mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination.
  • •Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License, with ability to physically access and navigate patient homes (including stairs) and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • •To begin work: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and required clinical checks/vaccinations (e.g., COVID boosters, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB within past year, Flu, TDaP).
