Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical civil design teams to create conceptual layouts and designs for water resources projects.
  • •Manage preparation of construction package deliverables such as design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical memoranda.
  • •Serve as lead engineer/discipline lead on mid- to large-size projects and provide client advice on engineering matters.
  • •Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and drainage/civil design, including stormwater drainage and hydraulic structure analysis.
  • •Mentor technical staff, manage project teams, and perform independent technical reviews with sign-off on work.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 8 years of related drainage design experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.E.) in California or ability to obtain within 6 months.

  • •15+ years of proven project management experience supervising staff (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of Los Angeles market and state agencies to support pursuit of work (preferred).
