Job Summary

Perform complex electro-mechanical technical work in the DFT Lab, including design, test, troubleshooting, fabrication, modification, assembly, and checkout of electronics and systems. Diagnose issues at both system and component levels with minimal supervision, document findings, and recommend changes to enhance performance. Execute mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/vacuum & process testing on AMAT platforms, follow safety requirements, and may serve as a Quality Lead while supporting NPI procedure development and training.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform complex electro-mechanical engineering technician functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
•Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
•Investigate, compile data, document findings, and recommend changes using reporting processes to enhance product performance.
•Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms and adhere to engineering/manufacturing documentation and specifications.
•Maintain safety and operational readiness: secure/safe/clean environment, report hazards/incidents, and support procedure documentation and training.

Travel: Low travel

•Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms while following safety standards and procedures.
•Strong interpersonal/communication skills to interface across departmental lines; may provide technical guidance and training to more junior technicians.
