Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate manufacturing machines within the production cells, including changeovers and condition setting to address quality issues.
  • •Use own initiative/judgment in the absence of a technician while staying compliant with RA/SOPs and work standards.
  • •Maintain department KPIs (5s, scrap reduction, inventory, safety, productivity) to factory targets for designated equipment.
  • •Complete daily/weekly asset care checks on machinery and record maintenance information.
  • •Perform safety and quality checks throughout the process; manufacture and inspect products/parts to the required standard and record scrap generated.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience operating plant machines (grinders, CNC machines, press, heat treatment) and using fork/pallet truck, cranes and lifting equipment.
  • •Experience with setting and fault-finding in a grinding/CNC/press/heat-treatment environment.
  • •Ability to make machine adjustments throughout the manufacturing process.
  • •Experience using measuring equipment (dimensional gauges, plug and dial gauges) and recognizing defects.
  • •Ability to accurately weigh and record operational scrap; basic mechanical aptitude with simple hand tools.
