Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead a team of technicians and specialists to fabricate, build, integrate, and deploy Starlink factory equipment and tooling.
  • •Collaborate with development operations and automation teams to meet factory infrastructure deployment targets and milestones.
  • •Manage tooling/testing equipment and infrastructure needed for engineering, automation, and product development projects.
  • •Oversee parts inventory, set team targets, and drive continuous improvement in output, quality, and program success.
  • •Provide mentorship and technical support, including safety training creation/delivery, and report project status and critical path items to management and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in machining, maintenance, or production/manufacturing; or 5+ years in the same fields in lieu of a degree.
  • •2+ years of experience managing a team or leading projects.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of conventional machining, CNC programming, machining operations, and quality inspection procedures.
  • •Experience with welding techniques, fabrication processes, and precision mechanical assembly operations.
  • •Knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and pneumatics; familiarity with electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and applicable safety/standards (e.g., NFPA, UL).
