Key Requirements

  • •BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or BSc/MSc in Geology/Engineering Geology/Earth Science, or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology (desirable).
  • •Chartered Engineer (IEng/CEng) or Geologist (CGeol) status preferred, or able to achieve within the next year.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK and Irish ground conditions and ground investigation practices, including interpretation/correlation methods.
  • •Experience in geotechnical design (e.g., earthworks, foundations, retaining structures, slope stabilisation) using relevant design software.
  • •Knowledge of Eurocode and British/Irish Standards, plus application of CDM Regulations / Safety in Design in design and ground investigation environments.
