Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor the site’s safety program, maintain safety records and reports, and ensure compliance with Tyson policy and Safety Management System.
  • •Develop and administer proactive accident and illness prevention programs, including preparing and reviewing technical reports and forms.
  • •Conduct and coordinate on-site safety inspections, audit physical conditions and safe work practices, and coordinate implementation of hazard controls.
  • •Provide safety expertise on hazard identification and risk mitigation, measure and evaluate control effectiveness, and recommend changes as needed.
  • •Facilitate safety training (e.g., ergonomics, emergency response, lockout tagout, hazard communications) and support new employee safety and environmental orientation.
