Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, and order parts.
  • •Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic/electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • •Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required and assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Ability to maintain safe job practices and provide superior customer service with strong verbal and written communication.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with preferred experience in field service, maintenance, and repair.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
