Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and Architect High-Performance Services: Lead the technical design of core features and microservices, ensuring decoupled, horizontally scalable, low-latency and high-throughput systems.
  • •Write Core, Highly Efficient Code: Act as a primary individual contributor, delivering clean production-ready code for critical paths and refactoring legacy components for efficiency.
  • •Diagnose and Resolve Performance Bottlenecks: Conduct deep-dive profiling, memory footprint analysis, and CPU utilization reviews using APM tools to proactively fix bottlenecks.
  • •Optimize the Data Layer: Design caching strategies, optimize database schemas/queries, and choose efficient serialization formats.
  • •Partner with Infrastructure Teams: Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure to align software design with AWS architecture for optimal compute, memory, and network efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,100 - 285,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.
  • •8+ years of professional software development experience using Python, GoLang, or Java/C++ with high concurrency and production-grade code.
  • •4+ years of experience designing, building, and evolving scalable, distributed microservices architectures.
  • •Proven track record diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues, including memory leaks, CPU bottlenecks, and database/IO serialization delays.
  • •Experience with profiling and APM tools (Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry, pprof, or CloudWatch) is preferred.
