Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise the day-to-day activities of the PLS engineering team, including lead engineers, master designers, and supervisors.
  • •Report status on team assignments and prioritize engineering requests, projects, and work across cross-functional teams based on business needs.
  • •Ensure proper engineering design procedures and processes, and provide technical soundness of design decisions and product changes.
  • •Coordinate project activities with other operating or engineering units to support timely project completion and resolution of design requirement issues.
  • •Oversee laboratory testing, prototype builds and evaluations, deviation systems (CO process/Enovia), and responsible product data management (PDM) processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Bilingual English-Spanish.
  • •5-7 years of experience in similar positions.
  • •Expertise in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, productivity improvement, and manufacturing operations/change management.
  • •Technical knowledge including drawing interpretation, SPC, Lean Six Sigma/DFSS, and project management.
