Field Engineer/Construction Inspector to support PM/CM teams on Indianapolis projects, performing site inspections, collecting data from surveys and blueprints, and ensuring conformance with design standards. You’ll use test equipment for soil, concrete, and material testing, compile inspection documentation, and collaborate with engineers and contractors to maintain safety, quality, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, structural plans, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, material sampling, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for field inspection activities.
•Under minimal supervision, use test equipment to perform basic inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, controls, resources, layout, alignment, and elevation to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and construction.
•Perform testing of soil density, concrete air/slump/yield, moisture content, and other required construction tests.
•Provide routine technical assistance that accounts for the proper inspection, construction, and functioning of highways, roads, bridges, structures, and/or infrastructure according to design standard specifications.
•Complete training on assigned tasks and collaborate with other professionals, engineers, inspectors, project control, and technicians on assigned inspection phases

•High School Diploma
•Minimum of 3 years of post-education experience in construction inspection
•Valid state driver’s license
