Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide CYB counseling services to children and youth, including assessment, brief counseling, consultation, action planning, referrals, and follow-up.
  • •Deliver parent training/guidance and coordinate consultation with parents, personnel, schools, and installation command regarding behavioral health issues.
  • •Conduct training and health/wellness presentations and participate in health fairs and installation activities focused on children and youth.
  • •Manage duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to DoD protocol; respond to critical incidents and special requests as directed.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application, maintain confidentiality/anonymity, and participate in required training and quality initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in a Mental Health related field.
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license from a state/DC/US territory/commonwealth to provide counseling as an independent practitioner.
  • •Less than 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • •Intermediate-level technology competency (e.g., Microsoft Suite, smartphone/tablet and application navigation, video-conferencing platforms).
  • •Ability to prove US citizenship and be fluent in English; must pass NACI and related background checks.
