Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and lead a strong safety culture through safe practices and leading by example.
  • •Develop training materials and deliver processing-related training aligned to the mill’s training strategy and SOPs.
  • •Coach and evaluate Processing Operators, including classroom and fieldwork, competency assessments, and input for progression.
  • •Collaborate with Mill Operations to develop and roll out SOPs and coordinate operator training and documentation.
  • •Maintain training records and reports for Mill Leadership, ensure legislated requirements are current, and support onboarding and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 106,470 - 118,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •5+ years of experience in mineral processing, with 1+ years as a trainer or in a supervisory role.
  • •Experience developing procedures and overseeing training across crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, and reagent systems.
  • •Experience delivering training packages using appropriate learning theories/styles, including adult training.
  • •Operating knowledge of BC Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines and proficiency coaching, training, and evaluating trainees.
