Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct and direct investigations to determine AOE/COE, including 24-hour 3-point contact to EE, ER & MD.
  • •Establish initial reserves and maintain accurate reserves based on probable outcomes.
  • •Authorize appropriate medical care, issue timely indemnity benefits, and manage legal aspects of claims.
  • •Provide quality customer service to clients, producers, employers, and injured workers.
  • •Determine settlement value and resolution while moving cases toward appropriate closure.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •California Workers’ Compensation experience is required.
  • •WCCA or WCCP designation preferred.
  • •Multiple years’ experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims, including indemnity and legal claims.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and oral communication with a focus on customer service.
