Job Summary

Lead power system studies for transmission and distribution projects, covering steady-state, dynamic and transient analyses for substations, generation, data centers, BESS and renewables. Define technical standards and best practices, ensure design calculations and drawings meet applicable codes and quality requirements (IEEE/IEC and others), and provide technical support for bids, proposals, and client meetings. Mentor team members and drive innovation using AI, digital tools, and scripts automation to develop dynamic and transient models.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform, analyze, and review power system studies (steady state, dynamic, and transients) and associated reports.
•Establish technical standards, procedures, and best practices for power system studies.
•Provide power system expertise from concept through detailed design of transmission & distribution projects, including substations, generation, data centers, BESS and renewables.
•Represent the company in client meetings and support bids and proposals as a senior member of the power system studies team.
•Mentor team members, drive innovation with AI/digital tools and scripts automation, and perform quality control reviews of design calculations/drawings.

Key Requirements

•8–12 years of work experience preferred in power system studies.
•Master of Engineering degree in Power Systems/Energy Systems or equivalent.
•Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license (or equivalent) from a global organization.
•Experience with Grid Connection dynamic/advanced power system studies using PSSE, PSCAD, ETAP, DigSilent PowerFactory, CDEGS (or equivalent) is preferred.
•Experience in Power System Studies for EHV grid substations is mandatory, including load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, arc flash, harmonic studies, earthing design, cable ampacity, and insulation coordination.
