Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia, and neurodegenerative conditions.
  • •Provide expert neurological consultations for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department referrals.
  • •Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
  • •Interpret and integrate neurological investigations, including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and laboratory results.
  • •Participate in acute stroke management, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programs; provide on-call coverage as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • •Tier 1 qualification in Neurology recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
  • •Completion of accredited specialty training in Neurology and eligibility for Consultant licensure with DOH, Abu Dhabi.
  • •Significant post-specialty experience as a Consultant Neurologist in a reputable healthcare institution.
  • •Strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
