Job Summary

Own a technical product vertical end to end for BJAK’s Neobank Superapp in Southeast Asia, spanning strategy, outcomes, roadmap, and technical design. You’ll partner with engineering to ensure money-movement correctness, reliability, security, scalability, and robust failure/retry/refund paths. Lead regulated launches (licensing, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, monitoring, data residency), apply AI where it improves outcomes, and ship feature-complete against external gates.

Key Responsibilities

•Own a vertical end-to-end: define outcomes and metrics, prioritize a backlog by value/risk/dependency/strategic priority, and maintain crisp acceptance criteria.
•Shape technical design with engineering, covering system boundaries, money-movement correctness, third-party-rail behavior (including rail-down), failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
•Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, or operations leadership.
•Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs, including licensing scope, CDD/KYC and limits, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and data residency/privacy.
•Apply AI where it earns its place by defining allowed decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop, evaluation approach, and safe behavior when unsure; ship behind flags and clear external partner/regulatory gates.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity, balancing ambition against technical, regulatory, and operational reality.
•Solid system design foundation: boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency; able to review/challenge design docs and sketch architecture/sequence.
•Experience in a regulated, high-consequence domain (payments, banking, remittance, insurance) or demonstrated fast-ramp ability to understand money movement constraints.
•Hands-on AI judgement with LLM-based products, including defining evaluable features, understanding hallucination/drift/data gaps, and knowing when a model must not be in the loop.
•Nice to have: engineer or highly-technical-PM background; zero-to-one; shipped AI-heavy consumer products; defined ML/LLM evaluation metrics; SEA market experience.
