Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and supervise daily activities of lot personnel and the lot operations function to stage and move vehicles efficiently and properly.
  • •Coordinate movement of vehicles from check-in to sale lanes, ensuring proper receiving, stocking-in, numeration, and parking.
  • •Supervise and coordinate vehicle check-in area workflow across drivers, check-in personnel, lane captains, and other lot operations employees.
  • •Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment, monitor lot damage, and review issues with the Operations Manager.
  • •Ensure safety commitment, enforce company policies, and lead performance through staffing plans, KPIs/metrics review, and team example-setting.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with 5 years in a related field (automotive shop preferred), or an equivalent combination such as a bachelor’s with 3 years, master’s with 1 year, or Ph.D. with up to 1 year.
  • •1+ year of experience in a management, supervisory, or lead role.
  • •Minimum 3 years of lot operations experience (preferred).
  • •Experience in the automobile industry or the Auction business (preferred).
  • •Strong communication, supervisory/organizational skills, good computer/software knowledge, valid driver’s license, and ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
