Job Summary

Supervise employees on the assigned shift to meet production goals and quality standards. Inspect and test machinery and equipment, set up and operate production equipment, and use unusual sound detection to troubleshoot issues with maintenance. Track and report inventory and production performance using scorecards and day-shift reports. Oversee preventive maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and train, promote, and discipline employees.

Key Responsibilities

•Set production goals and expectations for the shift.
•Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment; set up and operate machinery.
•Detect malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and coordinate with maintenance to diagnose and repair.
•Operate forklift as directed while following all safety rules and procedures.
•Ensure product quality by inspecting work in progress and finished product; oversee preventive maintenance and track/report inventory and parts usage.

Key Requirements

•Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Concrete manufacturing experience preferred.
•Provide on-the-job training to team members, including forklift, bobcat, and loader operation and production machine troubleshooting.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling).
•Ability to work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.
