Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering support in the preparation of design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications, and cost estimates for provincial/municipal road work
  • •Oversee the preparation of designs using CAD and transportation software
  • •Conduct and/or attend client and public meetings
  • •Assist in the preparation or administration of correspondence, engineering reports, and specifications
  • •Liaise with clients and subconsultants and mentor junior staff

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 75,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation design of roads
  • •P.Eng. designation in Ontario
  • •5+ years of experience in transportation planning and design engineering (preferred)
  • •Knowledge of Ontario Provincial Standards and Municipal Tender Documents for unit price contracts
  • •Experience with AutoCAD (and Civil 3D) and/or MicroStation (and InRoads/OpenRoads) and other roadway design software
