Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical direction and safe site leadership for onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • •Carry out control panel commissioning, logic modifications, loop and functional checks, panel certification, and upgrades.
  • •Supervise troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup activities of Baker Hughes products as related to control engineering during outages.
  • •Interface with client and Baker Hughes engineering on equipment reliability, operations, maintenance, and failure analysis.
  • •Coordinate and oversee field site work, providing quality service and maintaining required records of activities accomplished at customer sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience in turbomachinery control systems and field instrumentation.
  • •Experience with commissioning and startup of GE or Baker Hughes turbomachinery equipment using Speedtronics (MKV, MKVI, MKVIe, RX3i) or GE Fanuc control systems.
  • •Strong working experience with at least two GE/BH control systems: MKV, MKVI, MKVIe, Rx3i, or GE Fanuc.
  • •Experience working on turbomachinery equipment such as heavy duty gas turbines, aeroderivative gas turbines, and centrifugal compressors; able to work independently.
  • •Be willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
