Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise the daily production of photovoltaic modules in at least one specific area of the plant in accordance with quality and cost standards.
  • •Support safety procedures and 5S housekeeping standards, and ensure associate training coordination and training progress tracking.
  • •Maintain accurate associate records in Solar Connect and timekeeping in Kronos; maintain product inventory accuracy.
  • •Use TOC methodology to maximize throughput and evaluate/monitor manufacturing processes to meet cycle time targets.
  • •Eliminate downtime constraints in the assigned area by identifying root causes, coordinating with support teams and other departments, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Salary: USD 56,100 - 80,000

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required.
  • •Meet one of the six experience criteria (e.g., First Solar Supervisor/Temporary Supervisor, Team Lead/Temporary Team Lead, Production Technician II/Coater Technician II, or specified supervisory experience in a manufacturing production/inspection setting).
  • •Two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing production setting, warehouse, textile, agricultural, or material inspection capacity (or equivalent combinations listed).
  • •Effective communication and supervisory skills.
  • •Efficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, with proven decision-making and strong organizational/planning abilities.
