Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute technical accounting for business combinations, asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and related financing/equity structures.
  • •Perform accounting due diligence and advise on GAAP, control, and earnings implications before deal terms are finalized.
  • •Execute end-to-end purchase accounting and post-close integration accounting, including working capital true-ups and earn-out remeasurement.
  • •Assess consolidation and investment classification for investees and structured arrangements, including VIE/primary-beneficiary analysis, equity method, and impairment support.
  • •Manage valuation specialists, author and defend accounting policies/memos, and partner with external auditors and cross-functional teams on M&A and investment matters.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years owning complex M&A and strategic investment accounting end-to-end.
  • •Active CPA license.
  • •Significant Big 4 experience (e.g., National Office, Transaction/Deal Advisory, or Capital Markets/Accounting Advisory) plus in-house experience at a high-growth or public technology company.
  • •Deep command of US GAAP for business combinations, consolidation, equity method, and fair value measurement with auditor/regulator scrutiny.
  • •Proficient with accounting systems (Workday preferred), consolidation tools, and advanced Excel/modeling.
