Job Summary

Lead the downstream engineering activities for global refurbishment to deliver B-grade outputs, coordinating governance and technical decision-making across EMEA. Drive yield, cost, and throughput improvements through data-led analysis, lead process optimisation with internal/external teams and equipment suppliers, and support the development and launch of B-grade products into global markets. Mentor refurbishment engineers and align priorities with Aftersales, Quality, RDD and Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead downstream engineering activities within global refurbishment to deliver B‑grade output for the aftersales markets.
•Maintain, coordinate, and deliver engineering processes, governance, and technical decision‑making for refurbishment engineering across EMEA.
•Drive yield, cost, and throughput improvements through data‑led analysis.
•Lead process optimisation initiatives in collaboration with internal and external operations teams, equipment suppliers, and Dyson support functions.
•Support the development and launch of B‑grade products into global markets.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience leading downstream engineering activities in refurbishment or similar manufacturing contexts.
•Strong ability to maintain and govern engineering processes, governance, and technical decision-making across global operations.
•Expertise in data-led analysis to drive yield, cost, and throughput improvements.
•Experience leading process optimization with internal/external teams and equipment suppliers.
•Experience mentoring engineers and aligning with cross-functional teams (Aftersales, Quality, RDD, Business Units).
