Key Responsibilities

  • •Build alongside the team and contribute directly to important product and technical work as the team grows.
  • •Lead and develop product engineers through coaching, feedback, career development, and performance/craft standards.
  • •Grow the Product Engineering team by sourcing, interviewing, and closing exceptional engineers.
  • •Partner closely with Product and Design to shape product direction, make tradeoffs, and turn ambiguous goals into shipped experiences.
  • •Establish a predictable execution cadence, raise the quality bar via hands-on design/code review, and take ownership of cross-cutting surfaces (e.g., billing, files, operational ownership).

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of product engineering experience, including experience leading or managing engineers with a high product bar.
  • •Strong current technical ability to contribute to architecture, design reviews, debugging, and production-quality code.
  • •Experience building polished, customer-facing product surfaces and explaining what makes an experience excellent.
  • •Track record coaching engineers with direct, useful feedback and handling performance issues to expand scope.
  • •Cross-functional instincts working directly with Product and Design to set direction and make difficult tradeoffs.
